The Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA) operate a 51-mile toll road network in Orange County, California with 270,000 transactions a day and $240 million in annual toll revenue. The first toll road segment opened in 1993 with open road tolling from day one. TCA developed the FasTrak® brand for electronic toll collection which is now used on all of California’s toll roads, toll lanes and toll bridges. TCA is governed by two joint powers authorizes comprised of 18 cities and the County of Orange. The Toll Roads, which include State Routes 73, 133, 241 and 261, are part of the California State Highway System. In January 2014 TCA introduced ExpressAccount™ license plate tolling as an additional toll payment option and ended cash toll collection May 14, 2014.
